San Diego: Curious About Where Our Big Gas Lines Are After The Bay Area Blow Up?

Apr 27, 12 • UncategorizedNo Comments

SDG&E seems to be beefing up their otherwise routine inspections of our natual gas lines in the wake of the Bay Area Explosion.  The U-T dovetailed that report with a helpful visual as to where our lines are drawn.

Its not that I expect any of us to do anything about knowing whether or not a gigantic bomb happens to be underneath us at all times.  Rather, if you are positioned above any of their arteries, you might notice them in the weeks and months ahead working to keep us safe.  Utilities can’t prevent disasters like the tragedy that happened up north, but we can use this as a healthy reminder to ensure that what can be done about it, is.
