"It was the most amazing experience — especially compared to the horror stories we'd heard from friends and family." That's how Adriana and Robert described the day they finally picked up the keys to their first home: a townhome in La Mesa.
Their story with The GreenHouse Group didn't begin in the year they closed. It started back in 2017, when they first found the team on Yelp and began exploring what buying a home might look like. Then life did what life does — work changed, they relocated, and the plan went on hold. But when the time came to try again, there was never a question about who they'd call.
Why they came back
"We really enjoyed working with you guys the first time," they said — so they picked up right where they left off. This time the full team went to work: Jesse and Craig on the real estate side, and Jeremy guiding the financing. From the first meeting all the way through to the close of escrow, the experience stayed "smooth and cool" — even while the team pushed hard to land the right home, in the right condition, at the right price.
The difference was in the details
For Adriana and Robert, the standout was Jeremy on the mortgage side. "He explained the process so well and was so patient with all of our questions," they recalled. The team didn't stop at getting them to the finish line, either — they negotiated credits to cover repairs here and there, going above and beyond to protect the deal and their budget.
