Our commitment

The GreenHouse Group Inc believes a home decision is one of the most consequential things a person does, and nobody should be locked out of the information that makes it a good one. We are committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, speech input, or captions.

Conformance standard

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. Accessibility is built into the site's own code — semantic structure, keyboard support, color contrast, and motion controls — rather than layered on top with a third-party accessibility overlay or widget.

What we have built in

• A "skip to main content" link and a single main landmark on every page.
• Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menus and dialogs, with a visible focus indicator everywhere.
• Text and interface colors checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
• Text alternatives for images, and titles on embedded video and audio players.
• Labeled form fields, error messages announced to assistive technology, and no reliance on color alone.
• Pause controls on every automatically moving element, and full respect for your operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
• Touch targets sized for comfortable use on phones and tablets.

Known limitations

Some content on this site comes from third parties we do not control, and its accessibility may fall short of the standard above:

• Embedded YouTube video players and third-party review widgets (Google, Yelp, Zillow).
• Automatic captions on some older video content, which may contain transcription errors.
• Embedded mapping, mortgage calculator, and home-search tools provided by partners.
• Older PDF documents in our archive that may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers.

We are actively working on these, and we will always provide the same information in an accessible format on request — including reading a document to you, sending a plain-text or large-print version, or walking you through a tool by phone.

Documents and downloadable resources

Our proprietary guides are delivered by a person, not an automatic download. If you need one in an accessible format — tagged PDF, plain text, large print, or read aloud on a call — say so in your request and we will provide it at no cost and with no conditions.

Feedback and requesting assistance

If you hit a barrier on this site, or you need information in another format, tell us and we will help you directly rather than sending you back to the website. Please include the page address and a short description of the problem.

We aim to respond to accessibility requests within two business days. If a fix will take longer than that, we will tell you what we are doing and give you the information you asked for in the meantime.

Enforcement and formal complaints

If our response does not resolve your concern, you may escalate it in writing to the address above marked "Attention: Accessibility." We take formal complaints seriously and will provide a written reply.

How this statement is maintained

This statement reflects a full accessibility audit and remediation pass of this website conducted in August 2026, covering page structure, keyboard navigation, images, forms, color contrast, motion, media, touch targets, and downloadable resources. We review it whenever the site changes materially, and at least annually.
